DEVELOPMENT?!? In my area?
In Otter Point, Shirley, and Jordan River, residents have divergent opinions on future development, with discussions ranging from no development to various housing types and infrastructure needs. OPSRRA seeks community input, emphasizing the importance of decisions amid the pressure for 1,200 new homes in the next decade. A general meeting is scheduled for February 23 to discuss these topics.
Welcome to 2025
OPSRRA is initiating the New Year with a February meeting and an April AGM. The community successfully gathered 109 signatures for the "No Biosolids" petition. Improved road safety is planned for Otter Point Road. Membership has increased, and the board seeks new Directors. Spring cleanup of community bulletin boards is also planned.
